New series of Lynda.com courses on UX Design Techniques

I'm sharing the early-stage user centered design techniques I use with clients in a series of courses on Lynda.com. Each of the quick courses covers a different technique. Taken together, they should give you a solid set of tools for iteration zero.

The UX Design Techniques: Overview course has just been posted, the second and third installments will follow in the next few weeks, and I'm just about to record two more for release in the new year.

Here is one of the free videos from the first course.

Future episodes will cover the six steps of the user-centered design process in more detail, including: gathering and analyzing user data, creating personas, using ideation techniques, storyboarding, designing and testing prototypes, and planning your development cycle with all this information.

I've been really impressed with my experience with Lynda.com. They have very professional production values. If you aren't already a member, or if your school or workplace doesn't have a membership, you can get 7 days of free unlimited access to lynda.com. - use it to check out this and all my other courses!
